Simple Distillation Unit

This is a general-purpose batch distillation unit to be operated at atmospheric pressure.

Heating bath heats and evaporates the contents of the vessel. The vapours are then condensed in the condenser, and are collected in a container or a receiver.

The unit is complete with a spherical vessel, drain valve, heating bath, thermometer pocket, liquid inlet, vapour pipeline and a coil condenser.

A receiver with drain valve can be added optionally. Refer Selection chart for different options available for heating bath, vessel and receiver.

The unit is available in vessel size of 20, 50, 100 and 200 Litre.

Reaction Unit

This is a general purpose batch reaction distillation unit to be operated atmospheric pressure, or vaccum.

While heating bath heats and evaporates the contents of the vessel, the stirrer agitates to avoid heat spots. Vapours enter the condenser through reflux divider, & get condensed. The condensate is then cooled by a product cooler and collected into a receiver.

The unit is complete with a spherical vessel, drain valve, heating bath thermometer pocket, liquid addition vessel, stirring assembly with drive, coil condenser with vapour pipeline, reflux divider, product, receiver with drain valve.

The unit is available in vessel size of 20, 50, 100 and 200 Litre.

Fractional Distillation Unit

This is a general purpose batch distillation unit to be operated under vaccum.

Heating bath heats and evaporates the content to the vessel. Vapours enter into the packed column and get fractionated. Vapours of low boiling liquid enter into condenser, get condensed and collected into the twin receivers. From the final receiver distillate can be removed without breaking the vaccum.

The unit is complete with a spherical vessel, drain valve heating bath, thermometer pocket, liquid inlet, packed column, a coil condenser, product cooler, and twin receivers. Refer selection chart for different options available for heating system vessel and receiver.

The unit is available in vessel size of 20, 50, 100 and 200 Litre.

Reaction Distillation Unit

This is a general purpose batch reaction distillation unit to be operated at atmospheric pressure, or vaccum.

The only difference of this unit from above unit is that it is provided with agitator and liquid addition vessel.

The unit is complete with a spherical vessel drain valve, heating bath, thermometer pocket, liquid addition vessel, agitator packed column, a coil condenser product cooler, and twin receivers.

HCI Absorption Tower

HCL absorption columns are used for absorption of Hydrochloric gas which statutorily are not permitted to vent in to the atmosphere, and to produce the HCL acid.

The column is constructed with a series of packed sections, a gas introduction point below that, a condenser on the top, and a cooler at the bottom. Make water is sprayed from the top and acid is collected from the bottom.

HCI absorption column are available in 80DN to 300 DN diameter (for the gas rate 10 Kgs/hr to 300 kgs/hr appx.)

Solid-Liquid Extraction Unit

This a semi-batch unit designed for solid-liquid extraction as a means of separation.

The solid to be extracted is put inside a glass fibre bag and is placed in the extraction vessel. Solvent in the ractor is boiled and condensed and passed to the extraction vessel, from where extract is mixed with solvent and passes to the reboiler. The process is repeated until extraction is complete. Solution is again evaporated to obtain the extract.

The unit is complete with spherical vessel, heating bath, condenser, reflux divider, extraction vessel, and necessary pipelines and valves.

The unit can be supplied with solvent feed either from the top/or bottom, or with common arrangement.

The unit is available in vessel size of 10, 20, & 50 Litre.

Condenser Over GLR

This is general purpose batch reaction distillation unit to be operated at atmospheric pressure, or vacuum.

Vapours from the GL Reactor rise through the column and enter to condensers. Condensate then is either reflexed back or collected into a container or receiver.

The unit is complete with bellow, column, pipeline, coil condensers, thermometer pocket, vent, reflux line and drain valve.

A receiver with drain valve can be added optionally, refer Selection chart for different options available for coupings, structure, receiver vessel etc.

The unit available reactors from 63L to 3000L.

Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers Over GLR

Glass shell and Tube heat exchangers can be used for condensation of vapours, vapourisation, cooling and heating of liquid, and have come out to be more advance and beneficial for its following advantages: Bigger Heat transfer are in one unit. Less pressure drop.Stuffing box sealing allows easy tube replacement.The shell tube Heat Exchangers are available in various combinations of Glass/Metal, Metal/FRP in shell & Headers.Shell & Tube heat exchanger consists of a cylindrical shell which houses a glass tube bundle. Tubes are sealed with shell with the help of PTFE tube sheets. Each tube is individually sealed tube sheets at both the ends. Baffles are provided in the shell to maintain state of turbulence of fluid as well as to hold the tubes.Shell & tube heat exchanger can be operated within a temp.range of - 40C to 150C on either side, however, differential temp. Should not exceeds 120C at any point. Also, these can be used predominantly under full vaccum, provided, provided differential pressure does not exceed 3 bar gram.

The range of overall heat transfer co-efficient in the shell & tube heat exchanger in most of the application range between 300-900 kcal/m, h, C These are available in different standard models from 3M to 26 M.
